(1) Open up Outlook Express 6

(2) Click Tools from the Main Menu and Select Accounts from the pull down menu

(3) Click Add then select Mail...

(4) Type in your first & last name in the Display name: field, click Next

(5) Refer to the Welcome Letter that was faxed to you and type in your Email Address in the Email address: field, click Next

(6) Select POP3 as the server type and specify pop.1and1.co.uk as the Incoming Mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) server: and auth.smtp.1and1.co.uk as the Outgoing (SMTP) server: and click Next

(7) Refer to the Welcome Letter that was faxed to you. Enter in your Mail Adress in the Account name: field and your Password in the Password: field (the Remember password box is optional) and click Next.

(8) Click Finish

(9) Left click on your mail so it is highlighted, then click on Properties

(10) Under the Outgoing Mail Server heading, place a check mark in the box next to My server requires authentication Click on the Advanced tab.

(11) In the Internet Accounts window, click on Close
